Tonglen Lake Lodge is located seven miles south of the entrance to Denali National Park at milepost 230 on the George Parks Hwy #3.
Local transportation services and car rentals are expensive, so we encourage you to rent a car from Anchorage or Fairbanks during your Alaska stay. This will offer the flexibility and variety in your itinerary to make the most of your travels.
Drive North on George Parks Hwy #3 to milepost 230. Turn onto the Old Parks Hwy. at milepost 230. Drive 100 yards and turn RIGHT before the dead end sign. As you make the turn into the trees, you will see a metal sign for Tonglen Lake. Stay RIGHT for 3/4 of a mile and drive straight up to the lodge. ATTENTION: Two way traffic on this one lane road
